If you open a copy of this week’s Bookseller you’ll see me staring back at you next Hannah Gold as we’ve both been picked out as top ten preview titles for January 2027. This is a very new thing for me, probably much less so for Hannah Gold.

And this is of course very very exciting, and the best type of press coverage for a debut. Thank you to the children’s editor Caroline Carpenter, who clearly has excellent taste.
