Book Deal!!!
I’m delighted to announced that Traitor’s Magic will be published by Walker in January 2027.
This was the first book I ever started writing, and the second one that I finished. Over the last few months I’ve been working with my wonderful editor Non and the fantastic team at Walker to smooth off all the rough edges. It’s been a long journey and I’m so excited that people will finally be able to read it.
It has had previous success in literary competitions. Under the title Traitor’s Moon it was one of the winners of both the SCWBI Undiscovered Voices competition and The Scottish Book Trust New Writers Awards. Earlier drafts made the long and short lists of the Bath Children’s Novel Award, Exeter Novel prize and the Write Mentor Children’s Novel award. I’m glad it is the book I will debut with.
It’s available for pre order now at your favourite book seller.
